4. Whole Wheat Flour– Some dogs are allergic to gluten in regular flour. Whole wheat flour can have some more nutrients which are always great. If you don’t have whole wheat flour you can substitute all-purpose flour instead.

In one bowl, mix the “dry ingredients” (baking powder and flour). In a separate bowl, mix the “wet ingredients” (peanut butter and milk). Mix the peanut butter and milk together until it is creamy and smooth. Next, add the bowl of dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture.

It helps to do this in small amounts. Because these dog biscuits come out a bit crunchy, the dough will be drier than, let’s say, your favorite cookie dough. It doesn’t contain butter, egg, or anything else that a softer dough contains.

Next roll the dough out onto wax paper, parchment paper, or a hard surface. It helps to add a little extra flour to the rolling pin.
