Ingredients

• ½ cupfinely shredded carrot
• ½ cupshredded cheddar cheese
• 1cupoatmeal
• 2cupswhole wheat flour
• 2teaspoonsbaking powder
• 1egglightly beaten
• ½ cupplain unsweetened greek yogurt
• 1/3cupchicken brothwith no onion/garlic (you can also use water)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325o F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. You can also spray them with non-stick spray.
2. Put flour and baking powder in a medium bowl and whisk them together. Set aside.
3. Then, put yogurt, carrot, cheddar, and oatmeal in the mixer bowl.
4. Add half of the flour mixture to it and mix on low speed.
5. Gradually add the remaining flour mixture and mix it well.
6. Now, add the egg and broth into the mixture and mix on medium speed until all the ingredients are well combined.
7. After that, make small balls (about 1 teaspoon) of the mixture with a scoop or your hands.
8. Place the chewy dog treats onto the prepared baking sheet and use a fork to flatten them slightly.
9. Put them in the oven and bake until they are lightly browned on the outside but still soft on the inside (about 12 minutes).
10. Remove the dog treats from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
11. You can keep the extra treats in the refrigerator for a few days or freeze them for long-term storage.

• ½ cuppeanut butter (should be without xylitol)
• 1 cuppureed pumpkin (you want plain pumpkin, not pie filling)

2. Mix all 3 ingredients in a large bowl and mix until all of them are well combined and a dough is formed. You can also use a food processor for this purpose.
3. Then, use your hands to make small balls of the dough. If the mixture is too sticky, you can use some oil to ensure smooth handling.
4. After that, gently press the balls with a fork to create the crosshatch pattern of classic peanut butter cookies.
5. Place the chewy peanut butter cookies on a prepared baking sheet and bake until the edges start turning brown (about 20 minutes). You can also bake the cookies for a longer duration if your pup prefers crisper treats.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325° F (163°C).
2. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
3. Then, pour the milk into a large bowl and add peanut butter, egg, and carrot to it. Mix them together with a spoon or spatula.
4. After that, add the flour and baking powder and while stirring (and mixing) to make a dough.
5. Shift the dough to a floured counterand use your hands to knead it well.
6. Now, mix the oats in the dough and it should be extremely thick and heavy.
7. Roll the dough out into 1/4″ thickness by using a floured rolling pin.
8. Then, use a cookie cutter or knife to cut the dough into desired shapes.
9. Place the dog treats on the prepared baking sheets and bake until the bottom of the cookies is very lightly browned (about 15minutes).
10. Remove the treats from the oven and flip them.
11. Put them back into the oven and bake the other side for 10 more minutes.
12. Remove the cooked treats from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving to your pup.
13. You can store these chewy dog treats at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. The treats can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
