If you cannot visit any of our stores for your return, please complete the following steps to return the merchandise via UPS.

RETURNS / EXCHANGE POLICIES

Our goal is simple, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the unworn, unlaundered item(s) in salable condition within 90 days of purchase to a DXL store along with your receipt and original form of payment or return the items(s) via UPS, or your preferred carrier, along with your completed Return/Exchange Form.

We stand behind our goods and services and always do our best to take care of our Guest’s returns on a case-by-case basis. In extenuating circ*mstances, if the return is accepted after 90 days, the refund will be processed in the form of a gift card or E-gift card. We have long believed that when we treat our Guests fairly, they in turn are fair with us.

Please note that due to hygiene and safety concerns our DXL masks are non-returnable and non-refundable.

IN-STORE PURCHASES

Any in-store purchase(s) returned within 90 days of purchase will be refunded to your original form of payment. If we are unable to find a record of your sale, and choose to provide a refund, we will ask for either your address or phone number to process the refund as a DXL Gift card or E-Gift card based on the current selling price of the item(s).

Sorry, but we are unable to accept returns for Custom clothing (suits, suit separates, jackets and dress shirts) unless it is damaged/defective merchandise.

DXL Gift cards and E-Gift cards cannot be returned.

Discounts given at the time of purchase will be deducted from returned merchandise. In the event of a return or exchange, discount may be forfeited. For example, when a purchase involved a coupon discount taken on the entire transaction, the value of such coupon was proportionally distributed to all items purchased. If you return one of the items, the final price refunded will be the original as-sold price shown on the receipt less the prorated coupon discount.

Refunds, with valid receipt, for in-store purchases paid for by cash under $100 will be refunded in cash unless store funds are not available. If store funds are not available, the refund will be delivered in the form of a check mailed from our Home Office within 7-10 business days of the return.

Any in-store purchases paid by cash or check returned back to our distribution center will be refunded as a DXL E-Gift card.

We reserve the right to refuse any return. ID may be required in connection with any return or exchange.

ONLINE PURCHASES

For the quickest processing of your web or phone order exchange, fill out the return/exchange form and use the enclosed pre-paid UPS return label ($7.50 will be charged against your original method of payment for using the pre-paid shipping label). If you do not have a return label, you can download and print a label. Please record your tracking number for reference and then bring the package to your nearest UPS drop-off location.

We will ship your replacement item(s) within the continental U.S. at no additional charge. Any purchase(s) returned within 90 days of purchase will be refunded to your original form of payment. All other refunds will be in the form of a DXL E-Gift card. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless an error occurred on our part in shipping your order.

The $7.50 pre-paid shipping-label cost will be waived for item(s) returned for damaged/defective merchandise and/or exchange orders only.

INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES & RETURNS POLICY

DXL offers international shopping through our partnership with global e-commerce provider Borderfree. By placing an international order, you acknowledge that your financial transaction and shipment will be processed by Borderfree. Your customer service needs will be handled directly by DXL.

ABOUT BORDERFREE

Borderfree partners with online retailers to sell internationally by providing international customers with access to products found in the United States. Borderfree allows local currency prices to be visible throughout DXL.com and displays your final total (including customs tariffs, taxes and shipping fees) during Checkout. Borderfree also enables DXL.com to take advantage of a shipping network that delivers packages quickly and reliably to global customers.

HOW TO ORDER

  • You will have the option to select International shopping and choose your shipping destination and preferred currency. All DXL prices will automatically be converted into your chosen currency.
  • Shop DXL.com as you normally would. When you proceed to Checkout, your secure transaction will be completed with Borderfree. Borderfree will calculate and display a guaranteed order total, including all shipping costs and any applicable duties and taxes.
  • Once your transaction is complete, DXL will ship your item to the Borderfree shipping hub in the United States. Borderfree then ships your order to its final international destination.
  • You may ship to a specific country but pay with a different country's currency. If you don't see your country listed, we are not currently able to ship to that destination.
  • If you are shipping to a U.S. or an APO/FPO address, simply proceed through the regular Checkout process.

EXCHANGE RATES

Foreign exchange rates are determined by Borderfree and are based on interbank rates of exchange. These rates correspond with the average aggregate exchange rates that would otherwise be applied in an e-commerce transaction.

DUTIES & TAXES

Your order total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when your order is placed. International taxes, tariffs and value-added tax (VAT) will be calculated into your final order total during Checkout and can be viewed under Duties & Taxes.

Duty, customs tariffs and VAT are set by the destination country. They are determined based on the purchased merchandise's country of origin or manufacturing and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports. The amount of applicable duty, tariffs, taxes and VAT will vary by country and will be determined and guaranteed by Borderfree during Checkout.

PAYMENT METHODS

Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree when your package is shipped to its final international destination. 'BF* DXL.com will appear on your credit card statement. We are sorry but DXL.com Gift cards, E-Gift cards and DXL Rewards Club Certificates are not accepted at this time.

SHIPPING OPTIONS & CHARGES

International shipping costs are calculated based on a number of factors, including the chosen service level (Standard/Express), the number of purchased items, the weight of the items and the destination country postal code. During Checkout, international shipping costs will be calculated and guaranteed by Borderfree based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.

International customers may ship to multiple addresses by placing a separate order for each shipping address. We cannot ship single international orders to multiple addresses at this time.

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Most in-stock items generally arrive within 4-10 business days after your order is received depending on service type and destination. ("Business days" means Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.) Since delivery timeframes vary depending on destination, a more accurate estimate will be provided during checkout.

Please note: Although we try our best to deliver your items during the estimated timeframe, delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Online International Returns

International online orders must be returned via Borderfree within 90 days of delivery and must be authorized using a Return Merchandise Authorization form. Please contact Customer Service to process this form and to receive shipment documentation. Borderfree will credit your account upon receipt of the merchandise at the international hub.

We are not able to offer merchandise exchanges on online orders shipped internationally. If you return an item that was purchased using a coupon discount that was taken on the entire transaction, the value of such coupon was proportionally distributed to all items purchased and the discount will be forfeited and may not be reused. If you return one of the items, the final price refunded will be the original as-sold price shown on the receipt less the prorated coupon discount.

Returns sent without the appropriate documentation may be delayed in Customs. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original international shipping charges

INTERNATIONAL ONLINE EXCEPTIONS

  • International orders are not eligible for merchandise exchanges or ship to store.
  • Some promotional restrictions may not apply to international order including some promotions, free shipping, gifts with purchase.
  • DXL.com Gift cards cannot be sold or redeemed internationally at this time.
  • Some items may not be available for international shipment. International customers will be notified to remove restricted items during Checkout.
  • We apologize as we are currently unable to offer DXL Rewards Club membership to international shoppers.
  • The maximum order value for international shipment is US$25,000.

How to use Same Day Pickup In-Store

  • Select your item preferences including size, color and quantity
  • Choose the option to "Pickup in Store Today"
  • Select your preferred store & confirm product availability
  • When product is confirmed as available at that location, select "Add to Bag"
  • Proceed to checkout and place your order
  • Pick up your order in-store the same day!

*You will be notified by email when we have received your order. You will then receive a follow-up email when your order is ready for pickup, which will include your specific pickup time. Please bring the second email notification containing the order number and order details when you pick up your order.

  • Customer Pickup orders (Curbside Pickup and Buy Online Pickup in-Store orders) that have not been claimed in 7 days or more will be cancelled. An authorization hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of your order, but you are only charged for the order when you pick up the merchandise from the store.

    We would be happy to consider your request.

    All requests can be sent to us either through the U.S. Postal Service or via fax. Once received, the requests are reviewed by our Charitable Contributions Committee, and we will send our response to you by mail. The committee usually meets every three weeks. We will ensure your request is included in the next review meeting. Please send your request on your agency letterhead with your tax ID information.

Miscellaneous

  1. George Foreman items

    Unfortunately, George Foreman is no longer a spokesperson of Casual Male XL.
    We currently offer Harbor Bay and Oak Hill Brands which are very similar to George Foreman line of clothing. These brands have the same quality and material as the George Foreman merchandise. They feature the waist relaxer, neck relaxer, jacket relaxer, and dry-action.

  2. Model Selection

    Manufacturers generally only make "regular" size samples 6 to 8 months prior to a photo shoot. We make the assumption that a quality garment looks good on anyone, no matter what size he is. Though some of our models may appear thinner, most are very tall (over 6"4") and can wear our sample clothes. We carry so many sizes it would be hard to show every garment in every size.

    No we do not offer a layaway program.

  2. Change or cancel my order

    Because we began processing your order as soon as you placed it, orders cannot be changed or canceled once they are placed.

  3. Awaiting stock

    Awaiting stock means that the item is currently out of stock. Each item page will display a date listed next to the product which is when we expect to receive the product back in stock. This is an estimate and can change dependent on when the manufacturer ships the product to our distribution center.

    The items we have in stock will ship separately and we will ship your backordered item(s) as soon as we are able to process the stock for shipment. We are unable to hold the entire order until we receive all items in stock.
    Items shipped separately do not result in an additional shipping fee.

    Items shipped may be tracked online using the Track Order option on the website.

  4. "Processing" order status

    Your order is being picked, packed and getting ready to be shipped. It may take a few days to process an order. The order may remain in this status until the order has shipped and has reached one of the UPS Hub locations. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order ships.
    Shipped from Manufacturer: Orders shipped directly by the manufacturer may require additional processing which will vary by item.
    Items with Alterations: Please allow 1-2 extra business days for alterations.

    You may view any of your previous online orders in the My Profile section of the website once you have logged into Your Account.

    You can easily track shipping and return status on any of your orders.

Payment Methods

  1. Casual Male Or DXL Credit Card

    We no longer offer a Casual Male XL credit card and do not offer a DXL Credit Card.
    We do accept most major credit cards and PayPal for most items.

  2. Multiple Credit Card Charges

    When you place an order, we obtain a "temporary authorization" by contacting the bank or credit card company electronically to verify that funds are available. Your bank or credit card company may remove or set aside the necessary funds to cover the order for a period of up to five business days.
    We do not charge your card until the order has shipped. When we process a charge to the card, that first “temporary authorization” charge should automatically be removed by your bank or credit card company.
    If there are any items on back order, we will not charge your card for the item until it has shipped.

  3. CSC Credit Card Security Code

    To further protect your security, we request your credit card security code (CSC) each time you checkout, and we do not store this number on our site.
    Visa, MasterCard, Discover & Diner's Club: On the back of your card, there is a three digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel immediately following your account number.

    American Express: On the front of your card, there is a four digit, non-embossed number printed above your account number.

    No-Hassle FREE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES TO ANY OF OUR STORES
    All returns and exchanges must be unworn, unlaundered merchandise in salable condition within 90 days of purchase and must be accompanied by a valid receipt or packing slip. The full purchase price, with applicable tax, will be refunded in the original method of payment.

    Returns of unworn, unlaundered merchandise in salable condition after 90 days with or without a receipt or packing slip will be issued a merchandise credit that reflects the item's lowest price within the last 30 days, including all applicable discounts and promotions, plus tax.

    - Custom clothing cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, unless there is a material defect.
    - Gift cards cannot be returned.

  1. Drop ship items (shipped from manufacturer)

    Drop Ship items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and are special items we do not stock in our warehouse. Drop ship items require additional shipping time and is noted on the product information page.
    When ordering, the item will appear with "Ships from manufacturer."

    Sorry, we are unable to ship to a PO Box as a signature is required upon delivery. We are also unable to expedite shipping on some drop ship items.

  3. UPS/US Post Office Delivery

    UPS has partnered with the United States Postal Service (USPS) and created a delivery service called "SurePost". This service is designed specifically for lighter packages.
    The order is first shipped via UPS SurePost. UPS delivers the order to the United States Postal Office which, in turn, completes the delivery to the final shipping location.

  7. APO/FPO addresses

    Yes most items on DXL.com can be shipped to APO, FPO or DPO addresses, however, there are exceptions. Please contact us before completing your purchase to ensure your items qualify to be shipped to a APO, FPO or DPO address.

Sizing & Fit

  1. Pant Rise (LG/RG)

    Some of our pants are available in two rise lengths Regular (RG) & Long (LG).
    The LG has a longer rise than the RG.

    The rise is the measurement from the top of the inseam to the top of the waistband.

  2. Suit Sizing Information

    There are two main components that determine the fit of a suit. The first component is the drop, which is the difference in measurement between the chest and the waist. The second component is the length of the suit, inseam, and sleeve.

    A Regular suit will have a drop from 3 to 6 inches. The larger a man's chest is in the regular size, the smaller drop he will have. For example, a 42" chest corresponds to a 36" waist in a regular suit (six-inch drop) while a 56" corresponds to a 53" waist in a regular suit (three-inch drop).

    The Portly or Executive Cut suit has little or no drop. This suit will fit the man whose waist is the same size or bigger than his chest. For example, a 42" chest corresponds to a 40" waist (two-inch drop), while a 56" chest corresponds with a 56" inch waist (no drop). To get the best fit in a portly suit, it is best to use the bigger of the two measurements.

    To get the correct length, the following scale can be used:
    5'1" - 5'7" generally wears - short
    5'8" - 6'1" generally wears - regular
    6'2" - 6'4" generally wears - long
    6'5" - 6'10" generally wears - x-long

    * Note: these are general measurements and some consideration should also be given to man's build.

  3. Hem pants

    Some of the pants we carry come with unfinished bottoms. When this is the case, we will be glad to cuff or hem them to the appropriate length for a charge of $12.00.
    If you would prefer unfinished pants, we'll be glad to send them without hemming.
    Hemming adds 2 to 3 days to normal shipping times and is only available when orders are placed online.

  4. Belt Sizing

    We recommend adding one size to your waist size when ordering belts.

  5. Loose Fit vs. Relaxed Fit Jeans

    Relaxed Fit is cut fuller through the hip and thighs for a more comfortable fit.

    Loose Fit is cut fuller through the legs with a tapered bottom and sits just below the natural waistline.

  6. Tape Stripe

    It's called Tape Stripe because the width of the stripes are about as wide as a piece of masking tape.

  7. Cotton Piqué

    Piqué, refers to a weaving style normally used with cotton yarn, which is characterized by raised parallel cords or fine ribbing. Twilled cotton and corded cotton are close relatives. Cotton Piqué is a medium weight cotton with a raised woven design, and the resulting pattern may consist of squares or other geometric shapes.

  8. Portly or Executive Cut

    Executive Cut (also known as Portly Cut) jackets and suits have a smaller difference or "drop" from the chest measurement to the waist measurement than a typical regular cut jacket.Executive Cut jackets are designed specifically for men who carry more weight in their midsections, and they are proportioned so that these gentlemen can button their jackets properly without having to buy a larger sized regular-cut jacket, which could be too big in the chest/shoulders and also too long.
    If the difference between a man's chest measurement and his waist measurement is two inches or less, an Executive Cut jacket is recommended.

  9. Big versus Tall sizing

    Our sizing is made to fit the Big or Tall man.
    Big is for men under 6'3" and Tall is for men over 6'4". These can also be designated as Regular (Big) or Long (Tall).
    Big items are made with a roomier fit through the body with average sleeve, rise and inseam lengths. Pants and slacks designated with Regular will have average room from the waist to the inseam of the item.
    Tall items are made with longer fit through the body and will have longer sleeves, rise and inseam lengths. Pants designated as Long will have more room from the waist to the inseam to allow for a longer torso.

  10. 1/2 Sizes in Shoes

    Most brands do not make half sizes over size 11.5 medium and some offer limited half sizes. We recommend buying one size larger to accommodate any 1/2 sizes.

  11. Untucked Shirts

    When selecting a shirt to be worn untucked, we recommend selecting a shirt with a "shirttail hem".
    A Shirttail hem is a curved hem that dips lower in front and back so the shirt stays neatly tucked in.

    The Waist Relaxer is a specially constructed side hidden waistband which stretches to provide up to 4 inches of extra comfort, allowing for variation in the size and shape of your waist.
