Good god, NO! Mean spirited, hateful, nosy and ignorant people. Exceptionally poor quality hom*o sapiens even by Oklahoma standards. You can get beautiful farmland for cheap but is it worth the price? I’ve never seen so much meth mouth in my life!

Chelsea, OK is a good family friendly small country town. There is not much to do in Chelsea but it is a short driving distance to a few bigger towns and cities where you could go do things. We love it here. We are out in the country where no one else really is and thats how we like it.

Chelsea has been my least favorite place to reside. The school system, restaurants, police, residents, town council, jobs, etc. are all awful and incompetent. With a population of 2000, I didn't expect much but I also didn't realize the extent of the poorly managed town. I came from a small town, so it's not like I'm some city slicker that's not used to the hicks and cowboys. My hometown was well managed and tried hard to be the best it could be. The school system was fantastic, the people were friendly and educated (or at least presented themselves to be), and the support was incomparable. The only reason I live in Chelsea is because my husband is from here. He's literally the only good thing that's come from Chelsea. I guess you just have to be raised here to understand it.

I like that Chelsea is a small school so the teachers are more able to work with the kids. However I don't like that Chelsea is filled with drugs

I love everything about where I live. There are many resources for those looking for places that are safe to raise their children, have abundant churches and other places of worship no matter your denomination. If your into hunting there are many areas that are public areas to hunt in. I have lived here for the last 10 years and I'm glad this is where my mother took root. I'm just days away from graduation and know that I will miss those friendships made on my journey in life so far as we make our way into the real world of being an adult. Life is like a bull, im going to grab it by the horns and see where it takes me.
