If there’s one thing I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do, it’s resist any type of dessert. I never really considered myself someone who has a sweet tooth, but I’m realizing that having sweets in the house leads me right into temptation. Now, I’m not saying that sweets are bad. Well, not all of them. And not all bad. But even if they were, I feel like I deserve to indulge after all the hard work I do as a mama, wife and overall household manager. So, if you’d like to join me on this sweet journey towards gluttony, here are some dessert recipes made using candy bars and candy bar flavors that will give you a major sugar high.

1. Almond Joy Cookies
My favorite candy bar of all time is Almond Joy. And while this recipe isn’t made with actual Almond Joy bars, it uses ingredients found in the delicious candy. With just four ingredients- coconut, chocolate chips, condensed milk and almonds, these cookies are incredibly easy to make and can be done in less than 20 minutes. The sooner I get my sweet fix, the better!
Stop by Mom on Time Out for the details on making these.

2. Chocolate Peanut Butter Kit Kat Crunch Bars
One of my favorite candy bar flavor combinations is chocolate and peanut butter. With these crunch bars, you get a double dose of peanut butter and chocolate. Between the Kit Kat bar pieces, Rice Krispies cereal and chocolate chips, you’ll get a creamy, crunchy treat that’s sure to delight.
Head over to Averie Cooks for the full instructions- which don’t require any baking!

3. Twix Apple Fluff Salad
Yes, this is loaded with Twix. And marshmallows. And whipped cream. And vanilla pudding. And caramel sauce. But it’s also got crushed pineapple and green apples, so it’s sort of healthy, right? I mean, it is technically a salad. You know what? I don’t even care if it’s healthy or not because it sounds so darn good!
Get over to Yellow Bliss Road to learn how to whip this “salad” up.

4. Nutella Rolo Blondies
For awhile, I didn’t understand what the big deal about Nutella was. Now I know. I’ve made brownies using Nutella before, and they were super duper delish, so I bet these blondies are really yummy too. Not only are these made with Nutella, but also with Rolo chocolate candies, so there’s no doubt that between the two ingredients, your mouth will experience a flavor overload.

5. Snickers Cookie Cups
I didn’t realize that you can make cookies in a muffin tin, but apparently you can. These cookies are not your average cookies, but they aren’t exactly muffins either. Frankly, it doesn’t matter what they are. They are filled with Snickers candy and topped with a milky, caramel frosting that’s garnished with peanuts and chocolate chips. Mmm mmm!
Shugary Sweets has the full recipe for these cookie/muffin/candy cups.

6. Mini Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Trifles
As I said before, chocolate and peanut butter is a divine duo. So imagine how much more deliciousness you’ll get when you combine the duo with cheesecake flavor, chocolate sauce and whipped cream! This fun layered dessert doesn’t need to be baked, so you can make it easily.
Check out the instructions at Life, Love and Sugar.

7. Butterfinger Dessert Lasagna
Lasagna is one thing. Dessert lasagna is quite another. This no bake dessert is made using butterscotch pudding, Nutter Butter cookies, peanut butter and of course, Butterfinger candy bars. I’m thinking if you really like peanut butter, you’ll really like this.

8. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip M&M Cookies
Ok, these are definitely more healthy than the other candy bar desserts I’ve shared. The recipe uses M&Ms and chocolate chips, but also includes oats. You basically make these like any other cookies, and your kids would love to have them as an after school snack. (Make sure you sneak at least one to enjoy for yourself too!)
