You’re gonna love these 33 Meatball Recipes you Can Make in Your Slow Cooker.
Slow cooker recipes are always a favorite when I’m planning a party. From a Super Bowl Bash to a potluck at church, slow cooker meatballs rule supreme. I’ve added meatballs to subs, sliders, skewers, and supplied toothpicks for spearing those balls of deliciousness.
There was a time when most of my meatball recipes consisted of beef. These days, there are so many varieties of meatball recipes you can make in your slow cooker. Do you prefer chicken, beef, turkey, or vegan? We’ve got you covered!
Sometimes, when the family is coming over, I’ll make meatballs subs. I’ll gather all the trimmings, including different varieties of cheese slices, the condiments, and some fries or baked chips. The family enjoys this simple meal and I enjoy the easy cleanup.
Usually, my youngest daughter heads to the kitchen and gets everything cleaned up. She believes that if you cook the meal, you shouldn’t have to do the dishes. I agree! These days her husband jumps in to help. Isn’t that sweet?
Why So Many Meatball Recipes?
When it comes to meatballs, we all have our favorites. I like a little hint of sweetness. When I don’t have time to make meatballs, I’ll buy ready-made meatballs in the freezer section of my local grocery store.
I place the meatballs in the slow cooker and add my favorite sauce. Meatballs with BBQ sauce are favorites at my house. Plus, they are so easy to make.
What Makes Meatballs So Appealing?
It’s all about that sauce! From chunky tomato sauce to Honey Bourbon to Buffalo sauce, the sauce is what makes meatballs so good. Whether you like a mild sauce, a sweet sauce or a hot sauce, we’ve got you covered when it comes to saucy meatballs.
How To Keep Meatballs From Falling Apart In The Sauce
When meatballs fall apart, it’s usually due to the binder. Most meatball recipes call for breadcrumbs and eggs to bind the meat together. If you use too many eggs or breadcrumbs, the meatballs become soggy and loose.
The recipes below have the right amount of eggs and breadcrumbs so your meatballs will be perfect.

I just think that slow cooker recipes are the way to go. I do love me some meatballs, but I like them best when they are fixed in a slow cooker. Things just taste better and the cooking is a lot less stressful in a slow cooker.
